Sometimes you have to break the rules to get what you need.
Reading this material at Work could get you spanked.
Welcome to the Saturday Spankings blog hop. My stories are all M/f with the dominant male determined to protect the woman he cares for and loves, or grows to love, by doing whatever it takes to ensure her safety and continued health. This includes administering a spanking when she needs one.
My submission for this week is an excerpt from my new spanking novella in the Corbin's Bend series, Past Interference, the sequel to A Simple Misunderstanding. Past Interference is part of the Corbin's Bend Valentine's Day collection "Love in the Rockies," and is not being sold separately.
In this scene, which occurs in Chapter Five, Eleanor Benson (Elly) has made more than a few mistakes, one of which results in her throat being injured when she experiences another run in with her ex-husband. Not permitted to talk until the doctor gives her permission, Elly is reduced to communicating with a white board. With her wedding to Jerry scheduled to take place in three days, Elly refuses to spend one more night in the guest bedroom. Knowing Jerry will do nothing to address their issues until after she's been cleared by their physician, Elly decides to confront the matter the only way she knows how. Head on. Jerry gives Elly a chance to avoid the inevitable by ordering her to pick up her board one last time, but she stubbornly refuses to comply, so he makes good on his promise. When Elly finally gives in, Jerry wants to make sure she understands he's serious about her health, and that further disobedience will only get her in worse trouble. So, after he finishes administering her spanking, he tells her she deliberately sought to make him angry and she succeeded, so without further ado he grabs her arm and orders her to follow him.
Given
little choice but to follow, Elly protectively covered her backside with the
whiteboard as Jerry marched her back to “her corner.”
He
removed the board from her grasp, placed it within reach before her, and raised
both her hands to rest on the top of her head. “Keep those naughty fingers
there. No rubbing until I give permission. Understand?”
Tears
flowed down her cheeks, but she nodded. This time only a non-verbal agreement would
be permitted, any attempt to talk, even to call him ‘sir,’ would no doubt earn
her another volley of spanks.
“Better.
Nose to the corner. I expect you to remain in this position until I say you can
move.”

Blurb:
Valentine's Day in Corbin's Bend. As Elly Benson readies herself for her second wedding, the doubts and misgivings of any new bride-to-be are exacerbated by the abuse she suffered during her first marriage.
Though she's lived with Jerry Douglas for four months now, and been subject to his discipline more than once, Elly's first husband had been kind and careful with her, too, until the day she vowed to love, honor and obey him. The lessons she's learned from the past make her doubt she can ever find happiness in the future.
Love in the Rockies is available at the following locations.
I also have a page on my web site where I am offering a sample of the first two chapters. If you're interested, visit either the Spanking Romance or Past Interference page in the Over 18 section of my website.
Great excerpt. I wonder how nonverbal she was able to be during the spanking!
ReplyDeleteHe was pretty serious about this. She needs to keep her mouth shut - good luck.
ReplyDeleteCorner time..ugh lol. He is definitely serious, I hope she is done pushing him! I was wondering the same as Amelia too. Not sure how non - verbal I could be during a spanking lol.

Aww!! Poor Elly. It must be so hard to have to keep quiet, but it's for her own good. Hopefully the corner time teaches her that.
ReplyDeleteEep! Someone's in trouble...
ReplyDeleteYIKES! Corner time. Now that's one of the worst punishments in the world. Use that white board, Ellie!!
