            He sighed, then firming his hold; he brought his hand down again for the seventh time.

            "What was that for?" she yelped as she arched back in protest.

            "Do you think I can't tell when you are only pretending to agree in order to placate me?"  When she didn't answer, he said, "I can keep this up all afternoon, Kate.  So, you'd best decide how long it's going to take before you'll accept I'm serious."

            She ground her teeth together.  Admittedly, she had goaded him with her jabs, but then she hadn't believed he'd carry out his threat.  He certainly hadn't followed through during the last years of their marriage, and yet he seemed different today.  More adamant, but concerned, too.  And, even though his arms restrained her, the firm touch of his hand sliding along her backside and thighs soothed her.  So, despite the precariousness of her position, she perversely enjoyed the attention.  She felt secure--and she hadn't been this content in a man's arms for a long time.

            None of that changed the fact she was still inwardly furious with him for spanking her in front of another person, but she had difficulty reconciling her righteous anger with the part of her that was purring in response to his dominant and possessive posture.  Her emotions were so jumbled and opposite each other, she was no longer sure what she wanted.

            Unwilling to fall into the trap of mistaking comfort for love, she turned her attention to gaining her release without the total loss of her pride.  Not an easy task by far.

            "Kate?"

            He expected a verbal reply to his question, but she didn't remember what he'd asked, so she posed a query of her own.  "Why are you doing this, Peter?"

            "Because I want you to hear me out, and your head was too full of arguments to listen.  I get your attention far more quickly when you're positioned this way."

            "I'll listen now," she answered on a sigh.

            "Yes, you will.  Because you understand the consequences if you don't.  But I'm still not letting you up."

            Fighting against tears and her own desire to be loved by this man again, Kate asked coolly, "So, what must I do to get you to let me go?"

            "Has it really been that long, Katie?"

Cal went in, expecting to find Jenny in the kitchen. She wasn't there and a quick look around told him she wasn't in the house. Stepping back out, he noted that both her car and the bike were where they belonged.

"Jenny," he called. No answer. He trotted over to the small cabin where they'd lived comfortably until they'd gotten the house built. She wasn't there and Cal could feel his frustration and annoyance growing. He shouted for her again as he went back to the house and finally spotted her down on the dock. He quickly strode down the gently sloping hill to the river. Jenny stood with her back to him.

"Why didn't you answer me?" Cal asked.
Jenny ignored the question and continued to watch the river.
"You're starting to make me mad," Cal told her, trying to keep his voice calm. He came

around in front of her and held her shoulders so she couldn't turn away.

"Jenny, how on earth could you think for a minute that I'd be interested in another woman

when I've got you?"

       Jenny said nothing. After a moment, she looked up into Cal's face. Her face was grim and

unsmiling. Without giving any warning of her intentions, she punched him in the ribs with such force that he grunted and bent over slightly, grabbing his middle. Then, Jenny, still filled with intense anger, shoved him so hard that he landed in the water. She was nearly as surprised as Cal was with what she'd done. She spun and ran toward the house.

Cal was ready to explode as he sloshed from the water and ran toward Jenny. As he quickly caught up, he grabbed her, tossed her over his shoulder and continued toward the house with Jenny yelling at him every step of the way, "You bastard, son-of-a-bitch, mother-fu..."

Jenny received a hard swat, which cut off her cursing momentarily. With her still over his shoulder, Cal paused in the kitchen to grab a towel and dry his phone before heading to the bedroom. He took Jenny to the armless chair and quickly placed her across his lap. Her shouting and cursing had resumed.

He wasted no time pulling her shorts and panties down to her knees and began with such a harsh hand, Jenny was no longer able to shout but was nearly gasping for breath. Cal was angry but very much in control. After ten extremely hard swats, he paused.

"Are you ready to talk about this like two sensible people?" he asked.

Excerpt:

Annie followed him to the bedroom. “I don’t know what has gotten into Lily!” she exclaimed. “I made a few suggestions and she’s off the deep end.”

Andy stepped from the closet where he had been rummaging around. When Annie saw him emerge holding the leather paddle she had brought home years ago, mostly as a joke, she stepped back shaken, exclaiming, “Have you gone crazy too?”

“Someone’s off the deep end and it’s neither me nor Lily. We’re going to have a talk right now.”

Annie found herself across Andy’s lap before she could realize he was serious. “I want my wife back, Annie. You’ve been under enormous stress. I realize that, but something needs to snap you back to the calm, lovely woman we all know and love. My friends say this works and I’m going to find out.”

“Andy, no! You can’t do this!” Annie cried.

Andy had spanked Annie several times over the years. Nothing like Tom often dealt with Cassie, but this wasn’t a completely new experience for either of them. Except it was. Andy was deadly serious. He’d heard from Tom and Steve and even Ryan and Cal how much a ‘stress-relieving’ spanking could work. And Annie needed stress relief!

He spanked right through her shocked protests. He continued to spank as her brief anger flared and still kept on until he felt her body relax and her shouts of ‘no!’ and ‘stop!’ turned to sobs.

Andy laid down the paddle and helped Annie up to sit on his lap. He held her tightly as she continued to cry.

Andy patiently continued to hold here, gently rubbing her back. “You feeling better?” he asked.

Annie nodded into his neck, a little embarrassed and not quite ready to look him in the eye. “I want you to remember there is nothing the two of us can’t handle. Especially with the help of Lily and the rest of the family. You don’t have to take it all on your shoulders. You mind Lily on what to eat and drink. Get yourself into bed at a decent hour, too. And relax! You can do his Annie. I’ve never been one to tell you what to do, but that’s what you can expect for a while. Do you understand me?”

Saturday Spankings - 4/10/21 - "Learning to be Little" - Kelly learns not to interrupt #Ageplay #DaddyDom #Spankings

Welcome to the Saturday Spankings blog hop.  My stories are all M/f with the dominant male determined to protect the woman he cares for and loves, or grows to love, by doing whatever it takes to ensure her safety and continued health.  This includes administering a spanking when she needs one.  

My submission for this week is an excerpt from my first age play romance. Similar to Kelly's BDSM experience, Learning to be Little is my first attempt at depicting the dynamics of age play, and because it occurs in Kelly's past with her first, but not last, Dom, it is also a little different from other age play stories available today. However, I hope readers who enjoy age play and D/s will find their journey into Kelly's past an entertaining, sometimes funny, sometimes poignant, adventure.

This snippet occurs early in the book when Kelly's new daddy is attempting to show her around as he explains his rules to her, but her growing nervousness makes her impatient to know more.

Kelly placed her fingers on his palm and let him lead her down the hall to her new bedroom.

In direct contrast to the living area, and hallway, which were primarily decorated in chrome, glass, and leather, this room had all the frills and lace of a young miss's pink palace. Beginning to get the impression she would indeed be kept as a little girl, Kelly looked about her with unease.

All the furniture in the room had small bows and flowers attached in some way. The white dresser and night table were so shiny, she wondered if they had been coated with vinyl. The Cinderella bed, which dominated the room, was a little girl's fantasy come true. He'd encased a twin-sized bed in a pumpkin-shaped, golden-metal carriage frame complete with a fully decorated crown on top which had a light, sheer canopy draping from it. The mattress was raised off the floor by ornately finished steel scrollwork wheels connected to a curved rococo metal head and footboard, so it stood level with Kelly's waist. She'd have to take a running leap to climb into it.

In addition to the ostentatious princess bed, there was an adult-sized carousel-style rocking horse set in the corner along with a super-sized padded rocking chair and a variety of stuffed animals, dolls, and children's picture books perched on inset shelves. The room also featured two comfy-looking pink velvet upholstered armchairs. All in all, the chamber was fit for a young royal with the exception of two other pieces that caused the tiny hairs at the back of Kelly's neck to rise. He had added an adult-sized high chair and an oversized baby-changing station. What the…

"What are those?" she asked, pointing at the unusual equipment as though they'd been marked with the sign of the devil and stood dripping in blood.

"Ah, those. Well, there may come a time when I choose to treat you as I would an infant."

Kelly frowned. "You'll make me wear a diaper and sit in a high chair?"

"Yes. I will, among other things. Now, I suggest we—"

"Why?"

"You should never interrupt Daddy when he's talking, pumpkin. You'll get spanked if you do it again. First thing we need—"

"But, how can I—" Kelly wasn't permitted another word before he wrapped his arm about her waist and bent her over. Whack.

The more Kelly learns about her new situation the more nervous she becomes.

She needed a savior, but she wasn't looking for a second daddy

After a bleak childhood in foster care, Kelly's growing mistrust has her running away again and again. Homeless and penniless, with no relatives to harbor her and a penchant for escaping her caretakers, Kelly is finally handed over to one of the few parish orphanages remaining in existence until she turns eighteen, when she is released. 

Possessing only a little money, few skills, and even fewer resources, Kelly's attempts at job hunting end up with her prowling the streets in desperation – until a wealthy stranger makes her a proposition she is too cold and hungry to refuse. Though it isn't until he takes her home that she realizes just what she's gotten herself into.

Note about the characters in this story: 

Kelly is one of my favorite characters. She can be such a brat at times, which is something her champion Graham White refuses to tolerate. The majority of this story is the earliest, chronologically, since it occurs in Kelly's past, but it is the most recent book in the series. Confused much?

So, if you want to know more about this bratty, sometimes submissive adult little girl, she first appears in Arrested by Love as a secondary character, but like all good primary characters she insisted on having her own story with her new Dom, which developed into A Dom's Dilemma. Both books, originally released in 2010, have been numbered for the series, reedited and reissued with new covers, along with Learning to be Little: Kelly's Story. Its cover is pictured above.

Though Learning to be Little will be the newest book in the series, it actually begins immediately after A Dom's Dilemma, then takes the reader into Kelly's past in a sequel/prequel. The story is a departure for me in that the majority of its chronological time line takes place before the two books I've already published, but it belongs in the middle of the series. I expect two, possibly three more books in the series to be available in the near future.

Soon enough, with their golden retriever Willow in tow, they boarded the plane. Cassie settled into her seat and accepted a flute of champagne from the attendant. She was happy to see Tom visibly relax as he took his seat beside her. They held hands as the plane took off, and Cassie sighed with contentment. 

It was then that Tom leaned over to whisper in her ear, "Remember, I never said you'd gotten out of a spanking for sending word to Cooter. I just felt I'd enjoy it more in the pool, under the moonlight. You know I don't like seeing you sitting comfortably when we're on the island. I do love watching you squirm for a comfortable position on a bottom I've turned red hot." 

Cassie was startled out of her contented state. His deep voice, whispering in her ear, seemed to be doing incredible things to her. Rarely did Tom talk about upcoming discipline. When it came to a spanking, Tom was a doer, not a talker. Cassie was surprised to feel herself beginning to blush. 

Although she had no doubt he was annoyed that she had sent that brief word to Cooter, it was clear he wasn't mad. Yet she realized he was very likely going to use it as his excuse for a full-on rump roasting. 

Tom saw her blush and smiled as he continued, "I've been much too easy on you lately. Maybe a session with my belt will turn you right back into the perfect wife you usually are." 

Her mouth flew open as she gasped. Tom knew exactly what he was doing to her. Cassie loved, even craved, sessions with Tom's belt. To her, it was purely sensual. She didn't know why, but it did things to her mind and body that became the ultimate pleasure. Just listening to Tom's low whisper brought on an incredible longing.
