My submission for this week is from my first BDSM novel, A Dom's Dilemma, published by Blushing Books.  

In this scene, Jim, a former Texan who works as a police detective by day and lives and plays as a Dom by night, is mastering Kelly Franklin in the Velvet Chains BDSM club.  This is their first night together, and though Kelly is still a bit apprehensive of her new Dom, she's also far more attracted to him than she ever expected to be. After an intense session, he wraps her up in a blanket and holds her on his lap as they talk. Jim is interested in doing more with Kelly, but he senses she is hiding something. So, he remains cautious with her as he establishes their limits and discusses the possibility of more between them.

 

"So, you think you can trust me now, Kelly girl?"

After gazing at him for a moment, she risked running a hand through his hair to push his bangs back.  The shiny strands glided over her fingers like finely spun silk, then returned to their original position, as smooth and stubborn as their master.  She smiled, lightly blushing when he smiled in return, still waiting patiently for an answer to his question.  Her blush deepened.  "Yes, Sir.  You treated me with consideration and respect.  And even though you restrained me, you didn't try once to humiliate or hurt me."

"I'm glad you think so, darlin'," he replied, his humor over her distraction evident in his voice

Embarrassed, Kelly glanced down at her entwined fingers.  "I still don't understand why you insisted on using restraints though, Sir.  That does add an element of uneasiness to the experience, you know?"

"Yeah, I do.  You'll find I pretty much have a reason for everythin' I do, and your overreacting ended up makin' it necessary, I'd say."

She shrugged, not quite sure she agreed.  "Perhaps.  But you didn't know I was going to freak out when you told me you intended to restrain me."

"No, I didn't."

Frowning, Kelly met his gaze again.  "So why do it?"

"You gave the reason yourself, darlin'.  To build trust.  A sub who's restrained during a medical procedure is very vulnerable.  Wouldn't you say?"

"Yes, Sir."

"So, for her to let me do what I want, knowin' she might find it uncomfortable and embarrassing, takes a certain amount of trust, right?"  Kelly knew from experience that it did, so she agreed.  "That trust is precious, Kelly.  It's something I would never abuse, but it is something I have to build toward pretty quick if the two of us wanna start doin' some of the things I like.

"I suspect if I told you I needed to give you another enema, you wouldn't be happy about it, but the notion wouldn't send you into a fit of hysterics, either.  Would it?"

Admittedly, no, she wouldn't be happy.  However, when she considered how carefully he'd treated her, Kelly suspected he'd be able to convince her to submit, so she shook her head.  "No, Sir."

"No, you'd most likely agree without too much fuss.  And if I said I wanted to have anal sex, you might be a little fearful of the act, but not of me directly.  You'd trust me, even if you were uneasy about doin' what I wanted.  Right?"

Though that one wasn't quite so easy for Kelly to agree to, she did it to save an argument.  "Yes, Sir."

"Good.  Can you see the difference in your attitude now, versus how you felt when I first told you what I intended to do?"

Kelly has a past she's not willing to share with anyone, but withholding valuable information from a Dom is never a wise course of action for a sub to take. Jim hopes to impress this lesson, among others, on Kelly, even as he realizes it's too soon for him to insist she confide all her secrets. Instead, he tries to get her to understand why her trust is so important.

..."We'll sit down and discuss rules and protocol later.  But, for right now, I think I'd like to know your name."

Her name?  Didn't he already know it?  "My name, Sir?"

He arched an eyebrow at her, and she realized she'd broken another of his rules by making him repeat himself, but rather than scold or punish her for her slip, he said, "Yes, Kelly.  Your full name."

"Kellian Sarah Franklin, Sir."

"Kellian, eh?  An unusual name.  Don't think I've ever heard that one before."

"What is your full name, Sir?"

"Mine is James Andrew Evans."

"That is a very strong sounding name, Sir."

"It is, is it?  Well, Kellian…."  She winced, and he stopped to regard her for a moment.  "You don't like people callin' you by your real first name, do you, Kelly?"

"No, Sir."

"And why's that?"

"The nuns at the orphanage would always call me by it before they punished me."

"Okay, you revealed two interestin' facts in that sentence.  One, you're an orphan.  Did you know your parents at all?"

"Briefly, Sir.  They died when I was six, during a break-in gone bad."

"Were you at home?"

"Yes, Sir.  My mother hid me in a closet.  I don't remember much about it, but a policeman found me the next day.  I think I may have passed out, Sir."

"You're what, twenty-eight now?"

"Yes, Sir."

"So, the crime occurred twenty-two years ago.  Were you livin' here then?"

"No, Sir.  From what I was told, we lived in Connecticut, but in another part of the state.  I'm not sure where, exactly."

"All right.  You said the nuns punished you?"

"Yes, Sir."

"How?"

"Mostly with rulers, Sir."

He smiled, and she found she really liked his smile.  It made him appear younger, more approachable.  "No, I mean did you get hit on the back of the hand?  Were you paddled?  How did they punish you?"

"It varied, Sir.  Depending on the transgression."

"Did they ever paddle you with rulers?"

"Yes, Sir.  Probably more often than I would have liked."

"So, were you a bad little girl, in constant need of correction, Kelly?"

"I tried not to be, Sir.  But I routinely got into trouble for something."

MFRW Book Hooks - 1/17/18 - A Dom's Dilemma - Kelly resolutely keeps silent #BookHooks #BDSM

My post for this Wednesday is from my 4th book, A Dom's Dilemma, an erotic BDSM/spanking novel published by Blushing Books.  Kelly and Jim, the two main characters, were secondary characters in Arrested by Love. Though this story stands on its own, if you read Arrested by Love, you'll most likely recognize some of the scenes, since we see a little bit of Kyle and Tiffany in this book, too. Both books have recently been re-edited and revised and given new covers.

This scene in A Dom's Dilemma occurs near the end of Chapter Six.  Jim and Kelly are just starting to get to know each other when Jim discovers Kelly is still sore from the enema and examination he gave her a half-hour ago.  She knows that means he will want to examine and treat her, but she really wants to avoid having him touch her back there again, if it's at all possible.  It isn't, but Jim compromises by making the experience as pleasurable as he can.  However, he's a Dom, so there are some rules Kelly will need to follow.  Rules like forbidding her to come until he gives his permission. The sort of rules he fully expects her to break. Of course, when she does, a good Dom needs to provide the proper discipline his sub requires and expects, but he can also add pleasure to the experience, if he chooses. Afterward, he holds, cuddles, and reassures her until her tears have dried. 

Though Kelly came with his finger deep inside her, she had been hurt so badly before during anal play, she'd needed corrective surgery. As a consequence, hearing Master James tell her he intended to pursue having sex with her in her now puckering butt, scared her, and more than a little. He picks up on her reaction and asks if she will now tell him what had happened to her, but she knows he'd drop her like a sack of sand if she told him the truth, so she politely refuses. Her refusal leads him to warn, "Well, since you refuse to say what happened, I got to assume there's no problem. Because a good sub would never hold something so important back from her Dom. Right?"

            When Kelly winced, her clever Dom reached over and pinched her chin. "You know I'd be real gentle with you, don't you?"

She nodded reluctantly. He would be as gentle as possible, but as sore as his exam left her, she also knew sex with him was going to hurt, since she'd place the instrument he'd used into the peewee division if the two were ever entered into a contest of comparisons. The long, thick object pressing against her hip was far too intimidating, by her way of reckoning, and she wasn't a quailing virgin by any means.

My submission for this week is from my first BDSM novel, A Dom's Dilemma, published by Blushing Books.  I'm picking up exactly where we left off the last time, back in October of 2016, and since I haven't been publishing posts for a while, I'm taking some liberty in the sentence count with the length of this excerpt.

In this scene, Jim, a former Texan who works as a police detective by day and lives and plays as a Dom by night, is in the Velvet Chains BDSM medical station working with his new submissive, Kelly Franklin.  When Kelly balks, Jim suspects fear, rather than brattiness, is responsible for her reaction.  After giving her repeated opportunities to tell him what's bothering her, he decides to continue with his original agenda.  However, when Kelly discovers he intends to give her an enema, her fear increases exponentially, which validates his suspicions, but doesn't address Kelly's lack of trust or stubborn refusal to obey.  So, after reminding his reluctaont sub what BDSM is about, Jim gives her an ultimatum.  Say her safe word or submit to his will.  Kelly agrees to do what he wants, despite the persistent inner voice urging her to run away.  Though Jim is not out to humiliate or punish Kelly, her previous experience with medical BDSM was both embarrassing and painful. When she tells him this, he uses extra care and patience with her to coax her through the process, while remaining firm and resolute in his purpose. Her obedience is not optional, but when he asks her if she would like to continue seeing him, she is surprised, elated and a tiny bit uncertain.

  

            Kelly stared up into his dark, unsmiling visage. "Are you thinking you'd like to master me long-term then, Sir?"

            "Yeah, I would. Very much. What about you, Kelly? Do you want me as your sometimes Master/sometimes Dom, teacher, guide and lover?"

            The gamut of emotions she experienced brought a tear of relief trickling down Kelly's cheek. "Yes, Sir. I would like that very much as well. All of it, Sir."

Welcome back to Book Hooks, a regular Wednesday feature! In this blog loop, we hope to provide you with some tantalizing tidbits in our books.

My post for this Wednesday is from my 4th book, A Dom's Dilemma, an erotic BDSM/spanking novel published by Blushing Books.  Kelly and Jim, the two main characters, were secondary characters in Arrested by Love. Though this story stands on its own, if you read Arrested by Love, you'll most likely recognize some of the scenes, since we see a little bit of Kyle and Tiffany in this book, too.

This scene in A Dom's Dilemma occurs near the beginning of Chapter Six.  Jim and Kelly are just starting to get to know each other when Jim discovers Kelly is still sore from the enema and examination he gave her a half-hour ago.  She knows that means he will want to examine and treat her, but she really wants to avoid him touching her back there again, if it's at all possible.  It isn't, but Jim compromises by making the experience as pleasurable as he can.  However, he's a Dom, so there are some rules Kelly will need to follow.  Rules like forbidding her to come until he gives his permission. The sort of rules he fully expects her to break. Of course, when she does, a good Dom needs to provide the proper discipline his sub requires and expects, but he can also add pleasure to the experience, if he chooses. Afterward, he holds, cuddles, and reassures her until her tears have dried. He is so gentle and understanding that Kelly can't help but wonder what it would be like to spend an entire weekend with him after he invites her. When she admits she's never worn pussy or nipple clamps before, he doesn't attempt to hide his surprise.

            Jim regarded his new sub carefully.  Suspecting Kelly Franklin's experience in BDSM was severely unconventional, he longed to know more, but given her earlier reticence he chose not to press for further information tonight.  Instead, he squeezed her breasts and gently pinched her nipples, smiling at her soft moan.  "Well, I think those perky, pink tits of yours and your sexy little clit would look real cute in clamps."

            He admired the lovely blush staining her cheeks for a moment as she considered his words, then gave her butt a playful pat of encouragement.  Although pleased by his ability to affect her decision, he wouldn't be offering her much alternative, if she agreed to stay with him.  What they did together would remain his choice, as it should.

Jim is into control, not pain, and he wants Kelly to find pleasure in everything they do together, but the Dom in him insists upon taking the lead.  Things will happen his way, and on his terms.  End of story. Although Jim finds a great deal of satisfaction in Kelly's enthusiastic response, and her trust is of paramount importance to him, his role as a Dom requires him to hold her accountable when she disobeys. To do less would be inadequate for both of them.
