#SatSpanks - 9/5/20 - "A Dom's Dilemma" - Following protocol #BDSM #SpankingRomance

She needed his protection, except he insisted on her honest submission first.

Reading this material at Work could get you spanked.

Welcome to the Saturday Spankings blog hop.  My stories are all M/f with the dominant male determined to protect the woman he cares for and loves, or grows to love, by doing whatever it takes to ensure her safety and continued health.  This includes administering a spanking when she needs one.

My submission for this week is from my first BDSM novel, A Dom's Dilemma, published by Blushing Books.

In this scene, Jim, a former Texan who works as a police detective by day and lives and plays as a Dom by night, is mastering Kelly Franklin in the Velvet Chains BDSM club.  This is their first night together, and though Kelly is still a bit apprehensive of her new Dom, she's also far more attracted to him than she ever expected to be. Jim is interested in doing more with Kelly, but he is also protective. So, he remains stern with her as he establishes their limits.

…"If you're good, I may lay you down and give you one more itty bitty orgasm before we leave here, but that's gonna be it."
Kelly already understood enough about the Dom holding her to realize arguing wouldn't help.  Besides, he was right.  She was a little sore from all the probing and stretching he'd done to her private parts, but the achiness was sort of pleasant, except for her back hole, which still burned.  Even so, a sub did not argue with her Dom unless she wanted to be punished, and Kelly had no desire to travel that route again tonight.  So, she conceded and gave a slight nod to show she understood.  The frown she received in return made her grimace.
"That's another thing, darlin'.  Noddin' your head is never an appropriate response for your Dom.  In the future, if you slip and forget, I'll give you a warnin' first, then if I don't get the response I require, you'll get a swat."
"Yes, Sir," she replied with a wince, knowing she had a problem with that.
"Good.  We'll sit down and discuss rules and protocol later.  But, for right now, I think I'd like to know your name."

Kelly has a past she's not willing to share with anyone, but withholding valuable information from a Dom is never a wise course of action for a sub to take. Jim hopes to impress this lesson on Kelly, even as he realizes it's too soon for him to insist she confess all her secrets.

About the Author:

Though A Dom's Dilemma is Kathryn R. Blake's first BDSM novel and second spanking romance (a romance where spanking takes a prominent place in the plot), it is not the first book she has written in which the hero spanks the heroine.  In fact, most of her novels have some sort of spanking in them.  To date, all of her heroes are Dominant, alpha males who are extremely protective of the women they love.  However, part of that protectiveness includes the desire for a certain amount of control.  They do not suffer defiance or disobedience lightly.  In fact, it is something they refuse to tolerate, and will take firm steps to ensure the undesirable behavior is not repeated.

Besides writing, Kathryn enjoys traveling, reading, attending the theatre, and is a passionate lover of animals, so much so that in 2015 a stray cat adopted her. The stray now sleeps in Kathryn's bed.  In addition, she has taken up the expensive hobby of making and selling jewelry

  1. Loved this Kathryn. He doesn't even know her name? LoL. Love the dominance in this snippet. Nodding the head is definitely not an appropriate response.

  2. Thanks, Roz. She's equally surprised by his admission. She knew him by reputation, though they'd never been formally introduced.

  3. I know some would think this the strangest thing, but I love truly understanding the concept behind it all. Great snippet.
