My post for this Wednesday is from my 4th book, A Dom's Dilemma, an erotic BDSM/spanking novel published by Blushing Books. Kelly and Jim, the two main characters, were secondary characters in Arrested by Love. Though this story stands on its own, if you read Arrested by Love, you'll most likely recognize some of the scenes, since we see a little bit of Kyle and Tiffany in this book, too.
For this selection on Horny Hump Day, I'm continuing the scene in A Dom's Dilemma where Jim is making love to Kelly for the first time. Though a little nervous, Kelly has been wanting Jim for a few days, and is eager to have him. However, when Jim unzips his jeans, she begins to grow uncertain. Jim instantly recognizes the wariness in her expression, and even teases her a bit while he carefully gauges the changes in her expression. The union is so successful, Kelly is still in a stupor when Jim returns to the bedroom, so he gives her a quick swat to get her moving.
One spank was enough to bring Kelly swiveling up into a sitting position with an indignant squawk. "What was that for?" she demanded
with a scowl.
He inclined his head toward her as a
warning to watch her tone, then with a
scowl, said, "That's for layin' there when there's work to be done, woman--now,
go put some clothes on, so I don't keep gettin' distracted, while I go fix us
both somethin' to drink, then meet me back in the livin' room. We need to talk."

ReplyDeleteOh, she knows he's a Dom. They met at a BDSM club and have already spent a rather intense weekend together. Point is she wants to be more than a sub to him, but he's not quite ready to allow her all the liberties she wants to take. Great question.

ReplyDeleteGood question, Laura. Actually, he isn't hostile toward her at all, but he is letting her know he's serious, and she'd best do as he says without further delay. The scowl is there for emphasis only. In the next three lines, when he turns away from her, his frown turns into a grin. She wants to play more, and he does too, but they have issues to resolve. Thanks for dropping by.
