#SatSpanks - 6/7/14 - A Dom's Dilemma - Jim wants answers #BDSM #Spanking

She needed his protection, except he insisted on her honest submission first.

Reading this material at Work could get you spanked.

Welcome to the Saturday Spankings blog hop.  My stories are all M/f with the dominant male determined to protect the woman he cares for and loves, or grows to love, by doing whatever it takes to ensure her safety and continued health.  This includes administering a spanking when she needs one.

My submission for this week is from my first BDSM novel, A Dom's Dilemma, published by Blushing Books.  I'm picking up exactly where we left off last time.

In this scene, Jim, a former Texan who works as a police detective by day and lives and plays as a Dom by night, is in the Velvet Chains BDSM medical station working with his new submissive, Kelly Franklin.  When Kelly balks, Jim suspects fear, rather than brattiness, is responsible for her reaction.  After giving her repeated opportunities to tell him what's bothering her, he decides to continue with his original agenda.  However, when Kelly discovers he intends to give her an enema, her fear increases exponentially, which validates his suspicions, but doesn't address Kelly's lack of trust or stubborn refusal to obey.  So, after reminding his reluctant sub what BDSM is about, Jim gives her an ultimatum.  Say her safe word or submit.  Kelly agrees to do as he wants, though a persistent inner voice urges her to run away.  Despite Jim's gentleness, once he completes his anal exam, Kelly starts to tremble at the thought of what will come next.

Try as she might, Kelly couldn't stop trembling.  When her teeth started to chatter, she wasn't sure if he heard or merely saw her shaking, but Master James was in front of her again seconds after turning her on her side.  Cupping his warm hands about her face, he asked, "What is it, darlin'?"
She shook her head, but her trembling worsened.  "George, get us a heated blanket, will you please?  Kelly can you tell me if it's nerves or cold that is making you shake so?"
He was so tenderly attentive, tears welled in her eyes.  Next thing Kelly knew she was being wrapped in a delicious warmth with the added security of Master James's arms surrounding her.  Rather than question her further, he held and soothed her until her shivers slowed.  Then he focused his intent gaze on her face.  "Are you gonna tell me now what's happened to cause all this?"
She pleaded with her eyes for him not to press her any further.

Kelly has a past she's not willing to share with anyone.  However, withholding valuable information from a Dom is not a wise course of action for a sub to take.

  1. Poor thing. I'm glad he's sooting her and that she lets him know what's got her into that state. Great snippet Kathryn :)

  2. He is so tender and caring. It makes him seem even more a Dom, you know what I mean?

  3. A real dom does as much loving and comforting as demanding. He seems like a good one.

  4. I love when a man calls you "darlin'". Must be all those years in Texas... This couple is so hot.

I love audiobook month too! I'm addicted to my audiobooks, that's how I do most of my reading. And my narrator is working on Daddy's Game right now making it an audiobook. I'd love to read (listen to) more erotic romance on audio. Can't wait until Natasha finishes hers. Anyone else make audiobooks? I'd love to listen to them!

  5. Very tender. I like him already!

  6. No, witholding information is not a wise course of action, but Jim is so tender and caring, I'm sure he eventually gets to the root of it.

  7. what a beautiful moment. I love his caring.

  8. Sorry I am late to this Kathryn. Love this snippet and how attentive and caring he i:)

I love hearing from readers, so thank you for making my day! Writers with any thoughts at all (Naughty or otherwise) love comments, and I'm no exception.
