Welcome to Frisky Friday.  My stories are all M/f with the dominant male determined to protect the woman he cares for and loves, or grows to love, by doing whatever it takes to ensure her safety and continued health.  This includes administering a spanking when she needs one.  

My submission for this week is from my first BDSM novel, A Dom's Dilemma, published by Blushing Books.

This excerpt occurs after Master James and Kelly have spent an intense weekend together, and he is seeing her home.  Kelly doesn't want to leave him, but knows she has no claim on the Dom who's taken her under his wing.  Unable to separate from him entirely, she swipes a bottle of shampoo and after requesting a couple of plastic bags, she secrets the purloined goods in her handbag.  Jim suspects what she's done, and doesn't mind, but he's not above teasing her a little, either.

            When they pulled up in front of her building, Kelly invited Jim up for a "cup of coffee," only to face another disappointment when he declined, claiming he had work to do.  She knew his job as a detective required him to read a lot of reports and case follow ups, and accepted that.  However, she was still surprised when he got out of the car and opened the door for her.  Kyle often treated her like a lady, but not every Dom did.

            Without a word, Jim clasped her elbow and removed her large, leather handbag from her grasp.  Recalling what she'd put in it, Kelly quickly tried to grab it back.

            "No, no," he said, moving the voluminous, black bag out of her reach by draping its cross-body strap over his opposite shoulder.  "A gentleman never allows a lady to carry somethin' heavy, when he is practically empty-handed."

            "You're not empty-handed.  You've got my case."

            He lifted the small carrying case he held.  "What this thing?  A mere trifle."

            "But that's my purse," she implored, looking longingly at the shoulder bag hanging well out of her reach now.  "Men don't carry purses."

Jim realizes after their intense weekend together, Kelly is likely to go through sub drop, and he hopes to lessen the impact a little by leaving her laughing and happy.
