Guest Post - 2/23/17 - Brace for Impact by Daryl Devore #Erotic #Action #Adventure

What could be simpler than a routine plane trip from Toronto, Canada to Caracas, Venezuela for a rookie flight attendant and a sexy R.C.M.P. officer?

Daryl Devore is on the couch today to share an excerpt from her book "Brace for Impact," so I asked her a few questions, which she was kind enough to answer.

What's your genre or do you write in more than one?

I write in erotic anything. If I can stick erotic in front of it, I'll have a go at it. I have 2 erotic contemporary billionaire stories, an erotic twisted fairy tale, an erotic medieval romance, an erotic contemporary fantasy, an erotic contemporary crash romance and an up and coming erotic contemporary rock star romance.

Did you choose your genre or did it choose you?

It was chosen for me. I wrote a romance. Someone suggested making it hotter and ta da – erotic romance writer.

Is there any genre you'd like to try?  Or is there one you wouldn't?

Mystery. Mystery stories fascinate me.
I don't think I'd ever want to try Creative Literary Fiction. Definitely not my cup of tea.

Excerpt:

(Note – Lori and Paix are the same character. You have to read the book to discover why she has two names.)
Lori gagged on the bile rising in the back of her throat. She inhaled sharply to calm her stomach. If I'm going to die, it's not going to be with vomit all over my uniform.
A distant whimper caught her ear. She lifted her head and opened her eyes. The lady in 37D rocked back and forth in her seat. Lori fought the urge to run to her. Her flight attendant training told her to stay seated. The Captain had called, "Brace for impact."
Hang on, 37D. Just a bit longer. I understand how you feel. Isolated way back here in no-man's land at the back of the plane. No one's hand to hold for comfort. Alone. Scared. Me too.
The gentleman in seat 36C stood then pulled open the overhead bin.
Lori sat up taller. "Sir! The Captain said, brace for impact. Get back in your seat. Please."
He turned his head, glancing at her. Lori blinked. She'd noticed him as she did her rounds of economy class. Sexy tousled hair. An unshaven chin. Gorgeous smile. Focus on your job. "Sir. Please. Sit. Down."
He grabbed a bag out of the bin, slammed it shut and returned to his seat.
Her heart raced as she shouted out the words she'd practiced in flight attendant school a hundred times and prayed she'd never have to use. "Head down. Brace. Brace." She hoped the sound of her voice could offer a moment's relief to the terrified passengers in economy. They were her passengers. If she could hold each of their hands, she would. "Head down. Brace. Brac—"
The plane dropped and shuddered.

What could be simpler than a routine plane trip from Toronto, Canada to Caracas, Venezuela for a rookie flight attendant and a sexy R.C.M.P. officer?

But Fate had other intentions.

After leaving a disastrous marriage, Paix Allcot begins a new career as a flight attendant. The romance of travel plus the desperate need to be on any other continent other than the one her ex is on seems like a dream job. For the first time, Paix is no longer a trainee and the passengers in economy class are under her care. Especially the handsome passenger seated in 36C.

Guy Lapierre, undercover officer, is following a vicious human-trafficker. He has little time for relationships. Too many innocent lives are at stake. But when the plane crashes and Guy is stranded on a tropical island, he is forced to work with Paix to survive until he discovers that the man he is tracking is Paix's older brother.

Can a pink bra and a hot night on the side of a volcano save the relationship and their lives?

Review - Daryl Devore's book was fantastic also it was probably one of my favorites of the set. I was crying at the end thinking the worst but it turned out great.

Review- Daryl Devore likes to add unexpected events to her novels. And this one has several which if you google you’ll discover have really happened. So as you read this delightful story thinking it over the top, remember that while some events may seem improbable, life is full of improbable occurrences.
I thought both Guy and Paix were stand-up people. Paix had a moment of not so stand up when she finds her brother, but even there, when she thinks it through, she rights herself in short order. No one is perfect, but these two are really good, which results in great extreme action fun.

2 Warnings: The sex is explicit and the final chapter might scare you at first, but keep reading.

Guest Post - 7/28/15 - Dating Wars by Ravyn Rayne - #RomanticSuspense #Spanking

Ravyn Rayne is here today to share an excerpt from her second book in The Federal Agent Chronicles "Dating Wars."

Excerpt:

“Hey sexy.” I hear Kaitlyn’s voice and my eyes widen glancing up, as the dancers are once again on the bar.

“Kai?” I can’t stop myself from calling her by name. I’ve always seen the dark-haired agent in a pants suit, one rare occasion a skirt. This is something else entirely.

Kevin removes his drink from the bar. “You know the dancer?”

Kaitlyn is up there wearing nothing more than a red g-string bikini. Her brunette locks cascade down her back and her makeup looks like a hooker must have put it on her. She’s got thick turquoise eyeliner and lime green glittery eye shadow.

“Long story. We used to work together.” It’s not a lie but in the way Kevin’s mind is ticking, he must think I had been an exotic dancer. Not the case! Though, what harm could come from him believing it to be true? It is safer for everyone, than Kevin knowing I’m working undercover.

Kevin laughs and his cheeks redden. I’m guessing it’s the beer. He’s looking over Kaitlyn a little too intimately and long for my pleasure.

“Quite a story, I bet,” Kevin says. “Maybe you can share it on our second date?”

Finding love in all the wrong places.

When a serial rapist and murderer targets women on an online dating website, FBI Agent Leslie Hunter must pose as a potential match at a bar. How hard could it be? She’s been dating online for years.

While undercover, Leslie meets a handsome gentleman. She can’t tell Kevin her profession without ruining the investigation. How long can she keep this man out of danger without revealing she’s an FBI Agent?

A taste of pole dancing, phone sex, and spankings combined with a lick of danger. A romantic erotica story that’s sure to leave your heart racing and pleased afterwards.
