Be Lucky in Love for St. Patrick's Day

Glad you dropped by.  Would you say you're "Lucky in Love?" Well, are you? With each romance we find ourselves sharing a new world of love and memories with couples we get to know--intimately.  We choose our reading material based on the book cover and blurb, but which plays a bigger factor in whom we fall in love with--choice or luck?  Chance meetings.  Fortunate coincidences.  Lucky breaks.  Hmm?

Welcome to your second annual Lucky in Love Blog Hop where we want to hear about your fateful encounters, and how much you love St. Patrick's Day!!! Are you wearing green?  Do you have a bit of a brogue?  Ready to follow the rainbow for the pot of gold?

Almost 300 bloggers have giveaways and posts about those men we love!

But that's not all....

We have TWO grand prizes.  Readers can go to EACH blog, leave a comment with their email address and be entered to win. Yep, you can enter over 200 times!

Now what are those prizes?

1st Grand Prize: A $100 Amazon or B&N Gift Card
2nd Grand Prize: A Swag Pack that contains paperbacks, ebooks, 50+ bookmarks, cover flats, magnets, pens, coffee cozies, and more!

On the 19th, one entrant will be selected at random from each participating blog.  Then two winners will be chosen from that list for the grand prize.  Everything, except the swag pack, can be shipped internationally.
For my part, I'm offering one "lucky" reader his or her choice from my four available  ebooks (see below).  To enter, all you have to do is leave a comment below telling us what part, if any, you think "luck" has played in your life.   You don't need to pick your book now, I can confirm that when I contact you, but please make sure you enter your e-mail address.  Hey, what have you got to lose?

Once you've entered your comment, please return to the main site so you can continue your hop.

  1. I think we make our own like through hard work. Thanks Carin

  2. In our house the only luck we ever have it seems is bad luck. So we work hard and hope that we can keep the bad luck away.

  3. I don't consider myself lucky, although I am quite blessed. I never look at it as chance, but as a gift given. So although I am 'lucky' to have what I do, I don't credit luck with it. authorangelicadawson at

  4. No, I have not been lucky in love.

  9. Luck helped me meet cool people when I was travelling so I wouldn't travel alone

  10. I think so...luck, chance both are important and lead you to good or bad. Life is choices and you get lucky if you make the right one!!

  11. Hmm I believed in luck in the past, but now I think that everything happens for a reason. :)

  12. I was lucky enough to be in the right spot at the right time to meet my wonderful husband :)

  13. I love the idea of luck and lucky charms (not the cereal though I would love to eat some of that as well!). I think it's a fun concept and as long as it's not relied upon to the point of not working towards goals and things like that, it's a pretty fun thing. How it's played a part in my life... well, I guess a small example might be wayyy back in school days when you believed you had a lucky pencil or something like that it gave you extra confidence because you believed it was lucky. Even if it wasn't really, it sort of was because you believed it (if that makes sense, it did it my head while I was thinking it).
Thank you for the chance to enter :D Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone :)

  14. Luck is a fun idea. I like to wish people good luck, it may give them a positive boost that helps them out. Who knows? But luck is not a real thing, just a social construct. Thanks!

  15. I'm not sure how much of a part luck has played in my life, but both my hubby and I are of Irish descent and we've been happily married for almost 20 years with three beautiful children. So maybe it's the luck of the Irish.

  17. Can't say luck has been a factor in what's happened in my life.

  21. I think my love life's (or life in general) is a combination of luck and work. Luck's the spark, but you've got to feed the fire so it doesn't go out. I like seeing the work involved in my favorite romance novels, where luck brings the couple together but they have to actively work on their own issues and their relationship, rather than just relying on being soul mates.

  22. I feel like I've been lucky in my life because I've had some serious health issues and survived them all and will continue to live a great life! Thanks for the great giveaway and for joining the hop!!!!

  23. Lucky or not, I am blessed. I have my soul mate. It did take me 41 years to find him. And he was and is worth the wait.

Thanks for being in the Happy St. Patrick’s Day blog hop.
Hope ya’ll St. Patrick’s Day was great!
Keep writing so I can keep reading.

  24. Not lucky yet. Happy St. Patrick's Day!

  25. No luck for me yet.

  26. I think the only luck I've had is bad :(
Thanks for the chance to win. Happy Saint Patty’s Day!

  27. I have been very lucky in love. I met my wonderful husband in college. Thanks for the giveaway.

  28. What a great giveaway hop! I have yet to be lucky in love but I'm working on it. My favorite love book is "Outlander" by Diana Gabaldon. Jamie Fraser is amazing and beautiful. I enjoy St. Patty's Day and this year I'm spending it with my best friend. We're going to two Irish Pubs and also some dance clubs. I am also wearing green and am not a fan of getting pinched. I'm not Irish either, but many people think I am because my hair is red, my eyes green and my name is Meghan, but I'm not at all. I won't be telling anybody that, however… let them believe I'm Irish.
    Thanks for the giveaway!

  29. I have not been Lucky in love so far but have not given up yet. Happy St Paddy’s Day! And may your life always be golden!

  30. I don't know how much luck plays in love. Sometimes it is a matter of being in the right place at the right time, but the reason you were there to begin with probably came down to a decision and a choice. For all of you who've yet to find the love of your life, I wish you luck in making the right decisions and choices. For those of you who've been lucky in love or life, St. Paddy is smiling down at you.

For this hop I used Randomizer to select my winner. A choice on my part. And the lucky winner is.....
Shelly Hammond. Shelly, I'll contact you via e-mail to discuss your prize.

    Thanks to all who entered.

I love hearing from readers, so thank you for making my day! Writers with any thoughts at all (Naughty or otherwise) love comments, and I'm no exception.
