Welcome to the "Hot Summer Heroes" Blog Hop! As you hop from blog to blog you will find yourself confronted with a wonderful array of prizes including the grand prize of a $100 Barnes & Noble gift card.
So, what are the qualities you believe makes a man a hero? All of my heroes are extremely protective of their ladies. Admittedly, that is a trait most women admire in their men. However, when these guys take their responsibilities a little too seriously, they tend to become dominant autocrats who are impossible to reason with. And that is a trait their ladies struggle to break them of, though not always successfully.
Germaine, my vampire hero from Mortal Illusions, is determined to save the woman he loves from becoming a casualty of the undead, something she seems determined to do despite his cautions.
Dominic, my shape-shifting wizard hero from Deadly Enchantment, desires to save the woman he loves from his inner monster, who he must unleash in order to vanquish the evil that threatens both their lives.
Kyle, my spanking police officer hero from Arrested by Love, insists upon teaching the woman he loves to obey their traffic laws, or suffer the consequences of his displeasure.
One of these three eBook heroes could go home with you at the end of this hop. I have to go with Germaine, for one he is a vampire, second he wants to save his lady. Though it sounds like she is bound and determined to get into trouble. Love those kind of stories.

Sexy, strong, loyal and fearless! Ian from Killer Secrets by Lora Leigh emobodies this. He fought for what he wanted and would not give up! Ian is one of the best hero’s that I’ve ever read. He had flaws but used them for good. His courage was inspiring.

Those are tough choices, but I pick Dominic. I love a hero who doesn't feel like he can be his true self around the woman he loves either because he's afraid of hurting her or scaring her away or because he thinks he's not good enough for her. Dominic sounds like that type of guy, and I love a heroine who is determined to prove the hero wrong :)

Dominic, seems to have a strong sense of responsibility and protectiveness . This shows great inner strength and love. What great attributes for a person/ wizard to have.
ReplyDeleteSo many great replies as well as a great variety in the choices made. Germaine has been declared the winner as the man most of you would like to take to bed. He's secretly pleased, though he'd never show it. Kyle came in a close second with my Victorian wizard coming in last, though not by many votes. It was a close race and a difficult choice for me as well. However, since Germaine won, I picked my winner from those who chose him.
