Saturday Spankings - August 31 - A Dom's Dilemma #SatSpanks #BDSM #Spanking

She needed his protection, except he insisted on her honest submission first.

Reading this material at Work could get you spanked.

Welcome to the Saturday Spankings blog hop.  My stories are all M/f with the dominant male determined to protect the woman he cares for and loves, or grows to love, by doing whatever it takes to ensure her safety and continued health.  This includes administering a spanking when she needs one.

My submission for this week is from my first BDSM novel, A Dom's Dilemma, published by Blushing Books.

In this scene, Jim, a former Texan who by day works as a police detective and by night lives and plays as a Dom, is in the Velvet Chains BDSM medical station attempting to give his new submissive, Kelly Franklin, an anal exam. When Kelly goes ballistic, Jim suspects fear, rather than brattiness, is responsible for her reaction.  After giving her repeated opportunities to use her safeword, Jim is left with little choice.  She is being disrespectful, defiant and acting like a brat, all of which screams punishment to a Dom.  So, after giving her approximately thirty swats, with twenty for swearing, he attempts to calm his sobbing sub.

When the last swat was delivered, he pulled her up in his arms and held her while she sobbed against his chest like a broken mechanical doll.  They were large, gasping sobs that made her whole body shake.  He rubbed her back and tried to soothe her, but when she showed no signs of stopping, he knew he'd have to get firm again to bring her out of it.
"That's enough!" he barked, and she struggled to draw in a calming breath, but even that didn't ease her sobbing.  If she continued much longer, she'd make herself sick, and he couldn't allow that.  So, he wrapped her up in a tight, compression squeeze until her wracking sobs lessened.
"Even with those last twenty, I didn't swat you near as hard as I should've to cause all this," he scolded, keeping his tone light, but his hold firm.  "You must have an awfully tender butt, girl, because in my world those were mere love taps."  Raising one hand, she clutched his shirt and hung on.  It was the first voluntary movement she'd made since he'd finished her punishment, so he eased up on the pressure and rocked her in his arms.

Though Jim can be strict, he likes a bit of spunk in a sub.  And even though Kelly crossed a line that obliged him to punish her, her sobs are way out of proportion for the spanking he'd administered, which means something else is wrong.

Guest Post - Mary Sue Wehr discusses "Her Heart's Desire" - Writing @marysuewehr #menage

I'm so pleased to have conned, I mean invited, Mary Sue Wehr to join me today.  She writes sexy menage with a lot of heart.  Come sit next to me on the comfy sofa, Mary, and tells us all about your, I mean "Her Heart's Desire."

Hi Kathryn. Thanks so much for hosting me. ‘Her Heart’s Desire’ is my second book in what I call my ‘Heart Series’. My first, ‘A Heart’s Endeavor’ was about state trooper Jack Horan and widowed Melanie Manning.  Melanie, Sara and Stacy work together in a small but busy convenience store. I decided after ‘A Heart’s Endeavor’ was published that I’d give Sara and Stacy their own story. These three books can be standalones.

Readers love series, though, including me.  One of the questions many readers want to know is how long did you write before you were published? Let’s see. I started my first book many years ago but set it aside when I became pregnant with my daughter. That book was shelved for a long time. I finally finished it in 2010, but it was rejected so I started ‘A Heart’s Endeavor in 2011.

I had a similar experience.  How long did it take you to write your current book? About six to eight months. I really should set a schedule for myself, but there are times when I don’t feel like writing and if I force myself I make too many mistakes.

My muse likes to strike when I need to be doing something else.  She's perverse that way.  So, when do you write, morning or night? It really depends on the season. I guess that sounds weird, but during Spring and Summer I love being outside. I usually don’t write much during the warmer weather. When the colder weather moves in I like the evening.

Writing outdoors in nice weather is almost a guilty pleasure for me.  Where do you write most often? I love to sit in the living room by the window. When I get stuck on a scene, I set my pc aside and watch the animals scurrying around the yard. I’m an animal lover, J

I'm an animal lover, but I'm also easily distracted.  Squirrel....  Sorry.  Do you gather inspiration from real life events, and if so, did anything specific inspire you to write your first book? I used to work as a cashier. I got to know a lot of really nice people. Some would share their problems. I guess they needed to vent and I didn’t mind listening if we weren’t busy. So many, especially women, were on medication for depression and most of them said they felt guilty because they needed a pill to help them get through the day. I wanted to let readers who also suffer with depression to know that it’s okay to take pills and that there is nothing to be ashamed of.

Depression is an insidious condition since it disguises itself as fatigue.  Very sneaky.  So, is there a message in your novel you'd like readers to grasp? Yes! Do whatever makes you happy and don’t worry about what other people think.

Good motto.  I should make a sampler with that on it.  So, how did you come up with your title? Since my heroine, Sara, was in my first book I wanted to keep the word ‘Heart’ in the title. I also have a WIP with another female character that was also in ‘A Heart’s Endeavor. The working title for that one is ‘Heart’s Deception.

And that leads me to my next question.  What are your current projects? LOL, I’m bouncing back and forth between three stories right now. I’ll be busy this Winter when it’s too cold to be outside and especially when it gets dark around 4pmL

Three projects at once, very ambitious.  What genres do you write besides ‘Ménage’? My first book, A Heart’s Endeavor, is Contemporary/ Erotic and my second book, Callie’s Reckoning, is Contemporary/Domestic Discipline. Those are both m/f.

I notice you stick to the contemporary time period.  Is there anything you find particularly challenging in your writing? A lot of times I mess up with POV (point of view). That’s my challenge. If it hadn’t been for Pamela Tyner (Beachwalk Press) pointing that out I’d still be making the same mistake. I still mess up but not as bad. J

Now for a little personal dirt.  Tell us your best guilty pleasure (and by best I mean worst, of course.) Soft sugar cookies from the local Giant. Yum. I can’t buy them anymore because I’ll devour the entire box in one day. LOL. I have absolutely no will power when it comes to those cookies.

I'm so glad you could join us, Mary.  Before I let you go, do you have anything specific that you want to say to your readers? Yes. Thank you all for buying my books and leaving such wonderful reviews. Be sure to connect with me on facebook and we’ll share a chuckle or two. J

Will the shame of her mother’s betrayal prevent Sara from having her heart’s desire?

Sara Martin spent her life longing for two things—less responsibility and the boy next door. When Cade Dalton finally noticed her, she was thrilled. But when he suggested a threesome with his brother, she knew the rumors she’d heard were true—Cade and Reese Dalton shared women, something Sara despised. Her mother had chosen a life of sordid sex with two men over her marriage, leaving a broken ten-year-old girl behind. No way was Sara going down that road. She was happy to comply with Cade’s dominant tendencies, but she would not stand for any “sharing” in the relationship.

To her surprise, Cade agreed to give up his lifestyle in order to be with her. He swore to never again bring up the idea of a threesome, insisting that having Sara as his wife—and the Head of Household arrangement they’d come to—was more than enough to make him happy.

But six months into the marriage Sara’s brother-in-law was beginning to look mighty fine. She regretted passing on the chance to be between the two sexy Dalton brothers, but after her violent reaction to Cade’s suggestion she was too ashamed to admit she had changed her mind. And too ashamed to admit she wanted the same sordid lifestyle her mother had chosen.

Horny Hump Day - August 28 - Arrested by Love #HornyHDay #Spanking #Romance

Take one dominant police officer, add in a slightly spoiled socialite, toss together and savor the tangy result.

This material is Not Safe For Work. If you’re not over 18, please explore elsewhere.

Happy Horny Hump Day!  If you've visited before, you already know this is a regular Wednesday feature on A Writer's Naughty Thoughts. In this blog loop, we hope to provide you with tiny erotic tidbits of the most sexy and sensuous moments in our books. Just 3 sentences.  And boy is that hard to do, sometimes....

My post for this Wednesday is from my 3rd book, Arrested by Love. A spicy spanking romance published by Blushing Books.

In this scene, Kyle takes his recently engaged fiancee, Tiffany, on a secluded picnic where he plans to give the woman he adores everything she'd been attempting to seduce out of him for the past three years.  Her inexperience is a great turn on for him, but it also means he needs to take things far more slowly than his body desires.  So, when she ventures to lick his nipples, a jolt of pleasure zaps his groin and he moans as his pants grow a little too confining.  Worried, she asks if she hurt him.

"Oh, no, sweetheart, quite the opposite in fact.  Having you touch me is very, very pleasurable, just like this," he murmured then lightly sucked on her breasts.  Her hips instantly jerked in response as she moaned, and he knew she wanted him to kiss her between her legs as he had before.

An innocent in every sense of the word, Tiffany has wanted Kyle to make love to her for years.  She's dreamed of this moment, but now that her dreams are about to come true, she's more than a little uncertain about the physicality of the act.

Sneak Peek Sunday - August 25 - Acting Lessons #SPeekSunday #Spanking #Romance

Peter loved Kate with all his being, but that didn't mean he'd tolerate an ultimatum from her.

For Sneak Peek Sunday we share six paragraphs from a published work or a WIP (work in progress).

My submission for this week is from my 5th book, and newest release, Acting Lessons.

He was a strict and demanding college professor turned professional director who excelled at giving acting lessons.  She was his shy and uncertain former student who became a professional actress under his tutelage.  They fell in love, married, and won two Tony Awards before tragedy struck and a simple kiss ripped them apart.

After a six month separation, Peter Thorton decides to take matters into his own hands by making his famous wife, Kate, an offer she wouldn't refuse.  Plainly put, he wants her back and he intends to do whatever is necessary to achieve his goal, even if it means giving his stubborn, willful leading lady a daily reminder over his knee that she promised to obey him.

In this scene, which occurs early in the first chapter, Peter Thorton, seated comfortably in an agent's office, is attempting to convince his wife, Kate, to give their marriage a second chance by signing her to appear with him in a College Summer Stock production of "Kiss Me Kate."  Kate isn't sure she can trust Peter with her heart again, since she believes he's been unfaithful to her, but she's never stopped loving him.  And though Domestic Discipline originally played a part in their marriage, their last two years together had them living like polite strangers sharing the same house.  Peter realizes he made a mistake in letting Kate do as she pleased, so he's determined to rectify matters immediately.

They'd left things undone.  She believed he'd been unfaithful, which he hadn't, but she'd never bothered to ask.  She'd just assumed.  At the time he'd been so hurt by her unspoken condemnation, he didn't have the presence of mind to examine the reasons behind her cold mandate for a divorce.  And, when he finally thought about it, he realized she'd never questioned why he was kissing another woman, because in her mind she already knew the answer.
So, why had she concluded he'd stopped loving her?  What had changed?  And, at that moment, he understood.  He had.  She'd wanted him to reassure her of his love the way he'd demonstrated the night she'd shown up uninvited at his apartment.  Or the night he informed her they were getting married.  Instead, he'd handled her like a fragile crystal vase that might shatter if he so much as frowned.  He'd been wrong not to challenge her at the time, but he couldn't turn back the clock.  All he could do was move forward by getting her to accept his proposition.  Once he got her back, he'd begin testing his hypotheses.  Still, if his obstinate wife required proof of his intentions today, he wouldn't hesitate to oblige her.
"No," he agreed, "it shouldn't be at all difficult for me to find another beautiful actress to play the role."  He smiled when her nostrils flared in angry response.  "However," he said softly, his gaze intent on her face, "that is not what I want.  If you refuse my offer, I shall be forced to examine those options, but I would much rather work with you.  I thought we made an excellent team."
The charming blush he loved causing, once again bloomed across her cheeks.  But the slight lift of her chin accentuated how much thinner and sharper her features were from six months ago.  And, though her make-up was artfully applied, he could see the faint outline of dark circles forming under her eyes.  She wasn't taking proper care of herself, and her new boyfriend wasn't observant enough to insist upon it--or didn't care enough to bring Kate to heel.  Another mistake Peter intended to rectify today.
He knew all too well how to get his Katie to eat and rest when she was being stubborn, and he would do whatever was necessary to return her to top form.  Even if it meant his darling brat of a wife went around with a sore bottom for a few days.  But first, he needed her to agree to do the show.
"He is offering excellent terms, Kate, and it's only for three months.  Right now, I have nothing else to give you.  So, as your agent, I advise you to seriously consider his proposal."

Hmm.  Kate's not quite ready to trust her former husband again, but he can be very convincing when he chooses to be.

M/F, DD and a staged production of Kiss Me, Kate.

Saturday Spankings - August 24 - Mortal Illusions #SatSpanks #Spanking #Vampires

Show me an angry vampire, and I'll show you an unhappy mortal.

NOTE: Reading this material at Work could get you spanked.

Welcome to the Saturday Spankings blog hop.  My stories are all M/f with the dominant male determined to protect the woman he cares for and loves, or grows to love, by doing whatever it takes to ensure her safety and continued health.  This includes administering a spanking when she needs one.

My submission for this week is from my 1st book, Mortal Illusions. A vampire romance published by New Concepts Publishing, Mortal Illusions is currently the first in a series of 3 books.  Its sequel, Fatal Desire, is currently under production.

When Claire Daniels discovers Germaine St. Justine is a vampire, she sets a plan in motion to convince him to cure her brother of AIDS.  Though an innocent in sexual relations, Claire is savvy enough to realize the best way to secure Germaine's support is to enter into an intimate relationship with him.  However, having a vampire take you to bed isn't quite the same as sleeping with the boy next door.  There are complications. And Germaine is dominant enough to add a few more Claire hadn't expected.

In this segment, Claire has sought Germaine out at his private night club for the first time, only to discover his club offers much more than drinks for those with and without fangs.  The day room at Illusions is equipped to administer punishments as well.  While Claire is trying to reconcile with Germaine, one of his vampires enters the club with his mate in tow and demands permission to publicly chastise her.  What no one expects, however, is for Germaine not only to agree, but call for a supporting vote from his council. When the group unanimously agrees to the punishment, Claire doesn't think, she reacts by picking up a stool and striking the punishing vampire.

The stool struck Phillip's shoulders and bounced off, as if he were made of concrete, then crashed to the floor.
Phillip, who barely flinched, merely spun on his heel and caught Claire by the arms.  Claire cried out in surprise rather than pain, since for all his speed and strength, Phillip's grip was amazingly gentle.
“What the . . . Who the devil are you?” he asked, clearly stunned by Claire's unorthodox protest to the official proceeding.
“The lady you're touching is Claire Daniels, and she's mine, so I suggest you let her go--now,” Germaine advised, his tone hinting at dire consequences should his warning go unheeded. “If you wanted to pick a woman to fight over, Phillip, you chose the wrong one.”

Claire has spunk, but throwing items at vampires who are conducting a ritualistic punishment, is not wise under any circumstances, as she is about to discover very quickly.

Guest Post - Dinah McLeod - A Truly Errant Bride?

I'm delighted to have Dinah McLeod as a guest on my couch today.  She's promised to give us some juicy background on her novel, "The Errant Bride," as well as a few details about her upcoming sequel "Mona's Second Chance," due out this September.

First of all, Dinah, why don't you tell us what inspired you to write your first book, "The Errant Bride"?

The Errant Bride, is about Sara Harris, who is newly married to the man of her dreams, Ethan. She thinks everything is going well and is surprised to discover that he disagrees. They have a discussion via a bare bottomed spanking, and she is thrust into the world of domestic discipline which changes a lot of things between them but in the end strengthens their love.

I practice DD in real life, and I also was the one who brought it to my husband. Writing helps me explore, and I was interested in exploring the emotions behind DD because while I’d felt them I hadn’t been able to articulate them, so I took that as a challenge. Also, I thought it would be neat to try to see my husband’s viewpoint through the eyes of my character, Sara.

I like the fact you decided to try to put your personal feelings into words.  So, how long did you write before you were published?

I’ve been writing my whole life, really. Apparently I was pretty talkative from the get-go, so in first grade my teacher devised a way to keep me quiet while the other kids were still working: she had me write a story! Interestingly enough, she thought I was pretty good and had me make into a “real” book and had me showcase it, so that’s where it all started. The Errant Bride, my first work, is the only thing I’ve ever submitted for publication. I was very excited that it was accepted and published.

A writer's first publication is always very exciting.  Since you were trying to give expression to your feelings in The Errant Bride, did you include any experiences based on someone you know, or events in your own life?

I haven’t done that…yet. But I intend to soon, if permission is granted by the proper authorities. J

Hopefully, the proper authorities will be amenable to your request.  So, tell us, what is the most you have written in one day?

19 pages. I consider it quite a feat and have never done as much before or since!

That is impressive.  Is there anything you find particularly challenging in your writing?

I know this is going to sound odd, but the thing I find the most challenging is keeping myself interested. I have learned very quickly that if I’m bored, I just can’t write it. That was a particular challenge in my last book where I had to keep redoing and redoing scenes until I liked them. And of course, if you’re bored your reader probably will be, too!

Only too true.  So, what are your current projects?

My next book that is coming out is called “Mona’s Second Chance” about a divorced woman still in love with her ex-husband. Mona is making an effort to move on with her life until Colby follows through on a threat to spank her! But can they make it work this time around?

I love second chance romances.  If you had to choose, which writer would you consider a mentor?

There are so many! Since I’ve joined what I joking call “Spanking Facebook” I’ve had such great experiences with so many amazing authors. Renee Rose, as previously mentioned, Constance Masters, Courage Knight, Patty Devlin, and Kathryn Blake, of course! I could go on and on. Each one of them has been a huge help to me and that is so encouraging because this is a business that takes a while to develop, and that can be disheartening. Without all of them I don’t know if my experience as a writer would be so enjoyable.

They are all great spanking romance authors who I enjoy reading as well (and yes, I also enjoy my own books).  So, what are you currently reading?

And the Mountains Echoed by Khaled Hosseini; he is an amazingly gifted writer I love every one of his books. I am also reading Safe in His Arms by Renee Rose, who is another very talented writer. I have been excited to discover her work—it’s funny, sexy, and enthralling all at once.

I really like the cover for The Errant Bride.  Can you tell us who designed it?

Erin Dameron-Hill. She did such an amazing job—I love my cover, and she is definitely a hard act to follow, because I’m pretty sure thanks to her creative brilliance I am going to judge covers a lot more critically in the future!

On a lighter note, if you could have any super power, what would it be?

The power to see into the future. I think we all have questions we’d like the answers to.

I think being able to predict the future is scary, especially if you don't have the power to change it. What is your best guilty pleasure? (By best I mean worst.)

Honestly my best/worst guilty pleasure is spanking stories! Sorry, I wish I could be more interesting but that’s honestly the raciest thing about me.

I do understand what you mean.  I love settling down to read, and reading helps your craft as well. Speaking of craft, do you have any advice for other writers?

Keep writing, no matter how bad you think it is! And DO NOT ERASE! You might be able to use it later, or even for another story. I never erase anything. What you think is garbage now might be a gem later.

Great advice.  So, below is a little information about Dinah, where we can find her, and where we can purchase The Errant Bride.

Dinah McLeod is a writer of spanking fiction and a stay at home mom to two beautiful, crazy-funny little girls. Her hobbies include reading spanking romances while blushing, cleaning toilets, and wishing for the super power of invisibility so that she could take a nap.

Horny Hump Day - August 21 - Deadly Enchantment #HornyHDay #Wizards #Shifters

When a man lays down the law, a woman may want to get a lawyer.

This material is Not Safe For Work. If you’re not over 18, please explore elsewhere.

Welcome to Horny Hump Day, a regular Wednesday feature! In this blog loop, we hope to provide you with tiny little tidbits of the most sexy and sensuous moments in our books. Just 3 sentences. The books might be already published, works-in-progress, or even classic literature we think you’ll like.

This post for HHD is from my 2nd book, Deadly Enchantment, a shape-shifting wizard romance published by New Concepts Publishing.  The story revolves around a young psychic woman facing off with the dark wizard of Ravenscroft, who she is convinced has brutally slaughtered her sister in a fit of jealous rage on their wedding night.

In this segment, Dominic's deepening feelings for Serena make it more likely his evil brother will target her.  Rather than risk losing her for good, Dominic decides to send Serena home directly after the funeral of his sister.  Serena doesn't want to leave, but arguing will gain her nothing but his anger and the likelihood of a more speedy departure, so she remains silent. Though Dominic is suspicious of Serena's new found docility, until she is safely away from him he insists she sleep in his bed.  So, he enters her bedchamber, tells her what he has planned, and seals his intentions with a kiss.

His kiss was angry, urgent, and passionate.  When she leaned into it, he immediately softened the pressure of his lips, but devoured her like a starving man presented with a king’s banquet.

Then without any words between them, he carried her out of her room and down the hall to his own chamber, without lifting his mouth from hers until he’d laid her on his bed.

Though Dominic believes he is doing what is best for the woman he loves, she has entirely different plans.

As Natural as Breathing Tour Stop - It's Day 10 for Thianna D. #GayRomance #Spanking

Thanks, Kathryn, for letting my book tour be on A Writer’s Naughty Thoughts today:)

This is day 10 of the As Natural As Breathing Book Blog Tour. Have you been reading along? If not, you can find all the posts here.

All right! Kathryn asked to interview me for this post, so let’s see what she had to ask…and my responses. Are you ready?

How long did you write before you were published?
Well, I have been writing stories since I was five. So a very long time. But if we are talking serious writing where I was writing with the intention of getting a book done and out to the public? Five years. It took me five years to write my first fantasy novel.

How long did it take you to write your current book?
As Natural As Breathing took a month to write and then four months to edit, rip apart, re-write and get it to a point of submitting to a publisher. I am really big at putting a manuscript away for at least a few weeks, many times much longer until I can look at it with a fresh eye. That way I can fix and get rid of any big problems before editing commences.

What genres do you write besides spanking romance?
Well, under the name Thianna D, I write both erotica and erotic romance. You will find spanking in many of them. (Though not in my next Library Tale.) Many of my books have some form of BDSM involvement. I write both straight and gay and I enjoy writing both equally.

Under an entirely different name, I write romance, fantasy and even some non-fiction stuff.

I have multiple reading/writing interests.

What is your best guilty pleasure? (By best I mean worst.)
LOL Okay, are we talking sexually? Or foodwise? Hmm, let’s choose bookwise. I love Twilight. Say what you will about the main characters, I do love the love story in it. Because after all – I am a sucker for a good love story. (Which is probably why all but one of my books ends either HFN or HEA.)

As for food guilty pleasures? Hostess powdered sugar donuts. You know the ones? They pop easily into the mouth and are covered in lovely sugar? I thought I was safe when Hostess went under…and then they came back. And – oh look – there is a bag sitting right next to my computer.

Are you a plotter or a pantser?
A pantser for the most part. Most of the time when I sit down to write, I have no idea what is about to come out of the ether and flow through my fingers, either on to the page or into the keyboard. It is like I am the first person to read this amazing story.

However, the longer the book, the more I need a basic clue of where I am going. For instance, in the series that starts with my new book As Natural As Breathing. When I finished the first book, I was able to write down a couple simple things about the next two books so I knew where the story was headed. But it is just huge plot points. Each story itself is still a major surprise. And let me tell you, the second one in this series which will be out in January 2014 was a huge surprise in the best way.

And I like it that way.

What is the most you have written in one day?
I never really started counting daily numbers until the last six months or so, but my largest day was July 23rd. How do I know the date? I was taking part in JulNoWriMo and tracked my numbers daily. I wrote 14,314 words that day.

If you could have any super power, what would it be?
Don’t laugh! I would have the power to attract men I am attracted to. That’s my goal. Seriously. Am tired of attracting men that are the opposite of what I want.

Did you include any experiences based on someone you know, or events in your own life?
Yes, I did. Christian suffers from PTSD due to his time in Afghanistan. I suffer from PTSD due to events in my childhood. I understand the panic attacks, the tension, the isolation, and the pain involved. There is a scene where an attack takes him down and my editor said she could feel his emotions intensely during it.

When do you write, morning or night?
I write best in the afternoon and evening, but I have also been known to wake up at 3 a.m. when one of my characters decides they must chatter at that point and write for a couple hours before going back to sleep.

If you had to choose, which writer would you consider a mentor?
Interesting question. Two authors that I have listened to for years and took on habits that they both work with are R.L. Stein and Steven King. So, in many ways, those two are my mentors. They just don’t know it.

Name one entity (person, place or thing) you feel supported or inspired you outside of your family members.
I grew up in a community and religious atmosphere wherein I was treated horribly. Because of that, I fight hard for the rights of those who might be considered ‘different’ just like I was. Because different is not bad. In fact it should be lauded, not defiled.

Can you share a little of your current work with us?
Would love to! In this excerpt, Christian was in an accident and has come to spend the day with Logan.

“What are you doing?” Christian asked.

“Reading your meds.” When Christian gave him a disbelieving look, he added, “Hey, Dad’s a doctor. I’m anal-retentive when it comes to medication.”

As much as he did not want to take them, he knew he needed to. Unfortunately, one side effect was that they made him sleepy, and he kept drifting in and out of consciousness. The second time he woke up groggily, he groaned. “This sucks,” he muttered. “I came to spend the day with you and all I’m doing is sleeping.”

“You are still here,” Logan reminded him, hugging him close. “I cannot imagine anything I would rather do.”

“You wouldn’t rather be spanking my ass?” Christian yawned.

Logan’s body shook with silent laughter and he smiled. “When you are better, I’ll be happy to paint your ass red. But if you feel up to it, there are a few things we could do that shouldn’t wear you out. In fact, they would relax you into another nap quite easily.”

Immediately alert, Christian nodded. He wanted to feel as good as he had yesterday before the whole Brian experience.

“Great. Well, first we need to get naked.”

Grinning, Christian struggled to sit up. “Nothing bad can start with that phrase.”

Thianna D
For Thianna D, reading and writing are as important as breathing and far more important than math or science. A storyteller from the time she could speak, she was always making up characters as a kid. As a teenager that turned to sci-fi and fantasy, as an adult to romance. It wasn’t until her fourth decade that she began writing erotic scenes within her stories.
Writing M/M came naturally to her; she wrote her first tale before ever having read one. “There is something about the amazing dynamic between two strong men falling in love and defeating anything thrown at them.” While she had written several BDSM stories involving men, As Natural As Breathing was the first full-length novel involving domestic discipline.
