#SatSpanks - 4/4/15 - Past Interference - Elly makes a stand #CorbinsBend #Spanking

Sometimes you have to break the rules to get what you need.

Reading this material at Work could get you spanked.

Welcome to the Saturday Spankings blog hop.  My stories are all M/f with the dominant male determined to protect the woman he cares for and loves, or grows to love, by doing whatever it takes to ensure her safety and continued health.  This includes administering a spanking when she needs one.

My submission for this week is an excerpt from my new spanking novella in the Corbin's Bend series, Past Interferencethe sequel to A Simple Misunderstanding. Past Interference is part of the Corbin's Bend Valentine's Day collection "Love in the Rockies," and is not being sold separately.

In this scene, which occurs in Chapter Five, Eleanor Benson (Elly) has made more than a few mistakes, one of which results in her throat being injured when she experiences another run in with her ex-husband.  Not permitted to talk until the doctor gives her permission, Elly is reduced to communicating with a white board.  With her wedding to Jerry scheduled to take place in three days, Elly refuses to spend one more night in the guest bedroom.  Knowing Jerry will do nothing to address their issues until after she's been cleared by their physician, Elly decides to confront the matter the only way she knows how.  Head on.

Yanking free, Elly crossed her arms over her chest. She knew where this would land her, but hoped it would finally clear the air between them. “No.”
With his eyes focused on hers, Jerry undid his cuffs and rolled up his sleeves. A silent admonition. He would follow through with the unspoken threat if she didn’t do as he asked. His words added bite to his actions. “I know what you’re attempting to do, and it won’t work. This is your last warning, Elly. Now. Pick. Up. That. Board.”
Though he didn’t shout, his anger was palpable enough to get Elly to lower her arms and Muffin to give a few uncertain barks, but not enough to convince Elly she needed to change course. “No,” she whispered.

Though Elly knows her disobedience will push Jerry into taking action, she hopes the spanking she's about to receive will help clear some of the very uncomfortable tension developing between them and allow them to begin repairing their broken relationship.

M/F Domestic Discipline in Colorado.

Valentine's Day in Corbin's Bend.  As Elly Benson readies herself for her second wedding, the doubts and misgivings of any new bride-to-be are exacerbated by the abuse she suffered during her first marriage.

Though she's lived with Jerry Douglas for four months now, and been subject to his discipline more than once, Elly's first husband had been kind and careful with her, too, until the day she vowed to love, honor and obey him.  The lessons she's learned from the past make her doubt she can ever find happiness in the future.

  1. It's never a good thing when he rolls up his sleeves. He means business.

  2. I loved this book - I'm one that always wants to know 'what happened next'. I think her pushing lead to good things.

  3. Great teaser. The word "No" rarely has the outcome we submissive would prefer. :)

  4. I like it when a sub pushes for her spanking... wonderful snippet

  5. Rolling up of the sleeves is a sure sign something is about to happen that will not be good for our 'bums'. Great snippet.

  6. Oh my, I love it when a man rolls up his sleeves. So sexy hot!!

  7. Love this snippet Kathryn. Rolling up the sleeves ... yum!

I love hearing from readers, so thank you for making my day! Writers with any thoughts at all (Naughty or otherwise) love comments, and I'm no exception.
