This post for HHD is from my 2nd book, Deadly Enchantment. A shape-shifting wizard romance published by New Concepts Publishing, Deadly Enchantment concerns a young psychic woman facing off with the dark wizard of Ravenscroft, who she is convinced has brutally slaughtered her sister in a fit of jealousy on their wedding night.

In this segment, which directly follows my Six Sentence Sunday of August 12, Serena Cunningham and Dominic Westcroft have taken shelter in a vacant cottage from a magical and malevolent storm cast by Dominic's brother, Terrence.  When they are able to deflect the charged lightning with a kiss, they realize by coming together their magic is far stronger and more resilient than Terrence's web of evil ever could be.  Accepting their best chance for success over Terrence requires them to join their powers, Dominic makes love to Serena, fully understanding his claiming her virginity will result in consequences that will change both their lives forever.

            Then Dominic stiffened and Serena's world suspended for a moment before a rush of pure pleasure flooded her and she cried out.  Seconds later, his voice joined hers as their entwined bodies continued to rotate in a slow circle above the bed.  Surrounded by passion-charged magic, they hovered within a bubble of vibrant color that sparkled, then burst into tiny glittering stars all around them.

Just 6 sentences, that I intend to build from my Horny Hump Day 3 sentence feature. My current post for 6SS, is from my 1st book, Mortal Illusions. A vampire romance published by New Concepts Publishing, Mortal Illusions is currently the first in a projected series of 3 books.  Its sequel, Fatal Desire, is currently under production.

In this segment, a continuation of my August 5 Six Sentence Sunday, Claire Daniels is torn between her fear and her desire for Germaine after she's witnessed the start of what appeared to be his group torturing another woman.  When she demands to know exactly what his followers were doing to the mortal female, Germaine refuses to say.  With the sober knowledge that some things can't be explained, they have to be shown, he continues a slow, methodical seduction intended to bring Claire to a painful point of arousal.  When her pleading for release grows frantic, he holds her in place and calmly explains how her current discomfort is mild compared to the punishment she witnessed.

                “Teasing, taunting, tormenting, but never fulfilling.  By the time the penitent is permitted to rise, she is often too weak to stand.  Her body is on fire in a thousand places she is powerless to cool.  Desperate for release, the woman becomes her vampire's ardent slave, as he is the only one permitted to bring her the pleasure her body now craves, yet he is not always allowed to go to her at once.  For me, those times are the worst.  The woman is left tied to the dais, alone and in exquisite agony with no one permitted to give her even verbal comfort.  When the couple is finally reunited, the woman is usually desperate to do whatever her lover asks of her if he agrees to relieve her torment.”
