#WIPitUP - 9/6/17 - Learning to be Little - Kelly tries to be a good girl #SpankingRomance #Ageplay

WIP: Work in progress.  WIP it up Wednesday is a hop where writers share portions of the project they're working on with readers.  I really like the idea because it allows me to share something that's still in the creative stage as well as work behind the scenes as a prompt to keep me writing.

The WIP I've chosen to share today is tentatively titled "Learning to be Little: Kelly's Story."  It is a story about Kelly Franklin's first immersion into BDSM with a Daddy Dom. It begins in the present directly after "A Dom's Dilemma" then slips into her past before returning to the present again. It's my first attempt at an age play story, but I hope it will provide a lot more insight into Kelly's character. Though the manuscript has been accepted by Blushing Books, until it's published, I still consider it a WIP.

I'm continuing where I left off last time. As an only child born to two only children, a young and precocious Kelly Franklin seeks out her Daddy whenever something frightens her. Unfortunately, her Daddy isn't available to soothe her and two strange men were hurting her mother. Scared, Kelly remains as quiet as a mouse in her parent's closet until the police pull her out. Twelve years later, Kelly still suffers nightmares from that time and finds herself walking the streets. When she is approached by a "gentlemanly stranger", who invites her to dinner, Kelly accompanies her new "customer" into a fancy restaurant with well-founded suspicion and a bit of an attitude that could get her in trouble if she isn't careful. However, despite her uncertainty over the gentleman's intentions, Kelly does her best to do what he wants.

Realizing this was an interview of sorts, Kelly let him take the lead while she ate. Once she was done, she wiped her lips and glanced up to find the gentleman smiling at her. Offering a tentative smile in return, she gave her substitute bib a gentle tug but stopped when he lightly slapped her hand.
"No. The napkin stays in place until I say you may remove it."
Kelly blinked at him but obediently lowered her hand to her lap.
"Good girl. You may pick one dessert from the menu the waiter will bring us, but, whatever you choose I will feed you. Understand?"
Kelly hesitated, about to ask why, but his expression indicated he would not welcome having his intentions questioned, so she answered, "Yes, sir."
Another approving smile. "Well done. You learn quickly."
When the waiter brought the menu, Mr. White directed him to hand it to her. She examined her selections. All of them were appealing, but, given his prior restrictions, she suspected her host had something specific in mind he wished for her to eat. Rather than have her choice vetoed again, she glanced at him and said, "I thought maybe the chocolate cake?"
"I think the icing might be too sweet for you. Perhaps another selection would be more appropriate?"
"Chocolate pudding?" she asked.
"Acceptable. Bring the young lady pudding, Andrew, but serve it to me, please."
"Yes, sir," Andrew replied and left without so much as a blink of surprise.
Considering his request a bit unusual, Kelly asked, "Do you come here often?"
"On occasion, yes. They know what I prefer."
"Apparently so."

Graham White is definitely "auditioning" Kelly to see if she's a likely candidate for him to bring home.

Hope you enjoyed the excerpt.  Thanks for visiting.  Now go visit the other authors and see what they're sharing by either clicking one of the links below, or visiting WIP it up Wednesday.

  1. Interesting the way he is treating her when they have only just met and that she seems a mostly willing participant. Great excerpt Kathryn.

  2. I love that last line, Kathryn. "They know what I prefer." Something tells me that he's brought other littles there before. Do you have a release date for this book? I seriously can't wait to read it!

I love hearing from readers, so thank you for making my day! Writers with any thoughts at all (Naughty or otherwise) love comments, and I'm no exception.
