Final Six Sentence Sunday - January 27 - Deadly Enchantment #SixSunday

Shapeshifters - you've got to love the beast as well as the man.

This material is Not Safe For Work. If you’re not over 18, please explore elsewhere.

This is the last Six Sentence Sunday, and I'm bummed.  So, rather than grump and complain I decided to do something about it.  Starting next Saturday, February 2, I'll be participating in Saturday Spankings.  So, I'll continue to offer posts, though they will be a little different than my Six Sentence Sunday posts.  The sign up link opens today, so if you're interested in participating, click the link below and join the fun.

My last post for 6SS, is from my 2nd book, Deadly Enchantment. A shape-shifting wizard romance published by New Concepts Publishing, Deadly Enchantment concerns a young psychic woman facing off with the dark wizard of Ravenscroft, who she is convinced has brutally slaughtered her sister in a fit of jealousy on their wedding night.

In this segment, Serena Cunningham and Dominic Westcroft have taken shelter in a vacant cottage from a magical and malevolent storm cast by Dominic's brother, Terrence.  When they are able to deflect the charged lightning with a kiss, they realize by coming together their magic is far stronger and more resilient than Terrence's web of evil ever could be.  Accepting their best chance for success over Terrence requires them to join their powers, Dominic makes love to Serena, fully understanding his claiming her virginity will result in consequences that will change both their lives forever. What neither of them expect, however, is for Dominic to shift during the act.

The white leopard leaning over Serena was more than twice her girth and weight, yet when it lowered itself on top of her; she felt only the animal's warmth, not its bulk.  Then keeping its claws sheathed, the large cat rose up on its haunches and began rubbing its head against her cheek.  Though its whiskers were needle-sharp, the beast took care not to scratch or hurt her.  Shifting its weight slightly to the side, the animal continued to nuzzle Serena from the top of her head to her neck.  She held her breath when the leopard pressed its nose into the sensitive areas beneath her arms as though it sought to absorb her scent.
Afraid to move, even to breathe, Serena held perfectly still as the leopard's muzzle moved across her breasts and slowly eased down her front to her stomach--then lower.  When it's flat, slightly pink nose pressed into the hairs at the juncture of her thighs, Serena instinctively clenched her legs together, but the beast refused to be denied.  Sitting on its haunches it let out a scream-like yowl of displeasure, then dipped its head and gave her knees a nudge with its nose.

And this is why it is always dangerous to make love with a magical shapeshifter.
